Dr. Brian R. Apatoff, MD, PhD is an internationally recognized neurologist and multiple sclerosis specialist practicing in New York City. He serves as Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Institute at The Center for Neurological Disorders and holds the title of Clinical Attending in Neurology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Apatoff earned dual MD and PhD degrees from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his medical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He then completed his neurology residency at The Neurological Institute of Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Research Fellowship at Columbia University and The Scripps Research Institute.
