Who Is Dr. Sherri Tenpenny?
Dr. Sherri J. Tenpenny is a licensed osteopathic physician who has dedicated more than four decades to combining the best of conventional and holistic medicine. Based in the Cleveland, Ohio area, she is perhaps best known as the founder of Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center, a clinic that has served patients from all 50 U.S. states and over 17 countries since it was established in 1996.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that true health cannot be achieved through a single-system view of the body. Dr. Tenpenny earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, graduating in 1984. In 2008 and 2009, she served as Medical Director at Sanoviv Medical Center, a 40-bed integrative hospital located in Rosarita, Mexico. She later served as Chief Medical Consultant for Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 company with 60,000 employees across 48 countries, from 2012 to 2014.
She also founded the nationally recognized Tenpenny Health Restoration Centers, dedicated to supporting patients through natural and conventional healing strategies.
